01Our goal
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. WCAG is the international standard for accessible websites, and the one most accessibility laws and guidance refer to. We design for it from the start, not as a fix at the end.
02What we've built in
- Text and controls that meet AA color contrast, in light and dark mode.
- Buttons and links at least 44 pixels in size, so they're easy to tap.
- Full keyboard use, with a clear focus outline.
- A "Skip to content" link at the top of every page.
- A Pause motion button in the header. We also follow your device's reduced-motion setting.
- Light and dark mode that follows your device, with a switch to change it.
- Labels on controls for screen readers. Decorative graphics are hidden from them.
- Form errors that say in words what to fix, not just in color.
03Known limits
- The animated demos are illustrations. They stop with the Pause motion button, but some may be hard to follow with a screen reader. Each one's content is also described in the text around it.
- The world map on the home page is decorative. The times below it are ordinary text.
- Our forms use Cloudflare's security check. If it gets in your way, book a call or write to us instead.
04In the apps we build
We recommend building every client app to WCAG 2.2 AA, and we design for accessibility from the first sketch.
05Tell us what's not working
If something on this site doesn't work for you, tell us the page, what you were trying to do and, if you like, the tools you use. A person reads every message. We'll help you get what you need another way while we fix it.
